Mt. Eden Christian Church strives to have a mission strategy that reflects the teaching of Jesus found in Acts 1:8..."But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Jesus stresses that the Gospel is to be preached in places relatively close in proximity (Jerusalem) as well as places nearby (Judea) and culturally different (Samaria) and then finally "to the ends of the earth." This is a healthy and balanced model for doing mission work.
